This Journal Club seminar aims to present the basics of Clifford algebras, and to briefly review some of the applications in physics.

Clifford algebras are associated with inner product vector spaces, which are ubiquitous in physics and mathematics. They provide a unified framework which connects various algebraic and differential operations, and allow more compact formulations. They are also the basis of the theory of spinors.

In particular, they were used in classical mechanics and electrodynamics Quantum Field Theory, and General Relativity, but also in more advanced models beyond the Standard Model.
