My research interests cover mainly quantum wells and quantum dots; I developed several approximate analytical approaches, giving the bound state energies in such systems, with applications in optical properties of nanoscopic systems. I am also interested in the new class of transcendental functions providing exact solutions of quantum mechanical eigenvalue equations, for instance generalized Lambert functions, and their applications in quantum mechanics, statistical physics, magnetism, etc.
