Weyl geometry, Physics beyond SM, Functional RG

My current research interests focus on formulations of gravity as a gauge theory, with an emphasis on Weyl geometry and its interpretation as a gauge theory of local scale transformations. A particular interest lies in Weyl-invariant (quadratic) gravity, including the spontaneous breaking of local scale symmetry and the emergence of Einstein gravity and Riemannian geometry, together with its phenomenological implications. More broadly, I aim to investigate the non-perturbative quantisation of gravity and gauge theories using Renormalisation Group (RG) methods, in particular the Functional Renormalisation Group (FRG).
