Volterra equations are fundamental in biological modelling. From replicator equations to virus and epidemic dynamics they are applied with various forms. In this talk we will discuss a special class of sighet order Volterra systems which display discrete soliton dynamics. It is shown that singularities play a fundamental role in this description.
